More Details
May 16th 10am - Youtube Premiere - FREE

In conjunction and in response to the Lake Country Art Gallery current Community Exhibition, the Lake Country Art House will be premiering their video on the practice of Forest Bathing. This is a great way to start your Sunday and be inspired to be in forests and green space near you.

Community Engagement Coordinators, Alison & Pippa will guide you through the origins of Forest Bathing in Japan, the benefits of the practice and how it can inspire your creativity.

#RemememberEarth Photography Workshop

May 21st at 4pm - This session is both a photography class and an opportunity to express your voice globally.
After learning about and reflecting on the famous Earth Rise photo of Apollo 8 of 1968, you shall create your own responses in photography with words, then add your expression to a global plea for the planet on #RememberEarth. You will need an ipad or cell phone to join the zoom, and for taking photos.

This will be a one and a half our Zoom class on May 21 as a finale for the LCAG exhibit Voice and Land.

A recommended pre-requisite to attending this session is to visit our Voice and Land exhibition. The Lake Country Art Gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 3pm. For full details of the exhibition Click Here.

This is an interactive session so be prepared to create and express YOUR artistic voice!
