An onsite tapas bar will have chef assembled artisan bites, local wine and music that will all set the stage for the main event, a live art auction with 18 unique paintings will be auctioned off by a live auctioneer.  There will also be a chance to take home a painting created in front of your eyes by local artists.

The auction will start online 2 weeks earlier, on June 1

Lake Country Art Gallery Fundraiser

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 17TH 5PM TO 10PM
At the Lake Country Art Gallery’s
Night Picnic

Most art galleries ask artists to donate a piece of one of their treasured artwork but not us at the Lake Country Art Gallery; we've asked for … Terrible, Horrible, Absolutely No Good, Awful Drawings… drawings so bad they're good.
Walk away with an original work of Bad Art for just $25 - or be ready to bid up to $50, $100 or even $500 for your favourites to support this unique fundraising event featuring a wide range of (mostly) works on paper. All donated artwork by your favourite artists, gallery staff, and members, including sketches, paintings, Lino prints, etchings, photographs, and more.

Want a Terrible, Horrible, Absolutely No Good, Awful Drawing but unable to attend the event? No problem! Contact the gallery curator with your donation amount and a Terrible, Horrible, Absolutely No Good, Awful Drawing will be chosen just for you! Send an email to: wandalock@lakecountryartgallery.ca with your donation details.
