A Look at the Day...
On our 3rd ArtBus gallery tour we will take a journey through many exhibitions. We’ll see the art, meet the artists and be guided by curators. You might notice that there are many different kinds of galleries and that each works a little differently from another, and maybe you’ve wondered why? We invite you to keep this thought in your mind as we take you through public galleries, commercial galleries and an artist’s collective.
 
As you visit each gallery, how do you feel entering the building? Does it change from one gallery to another? How is the art hung or presented to you? Who decides what art is shown and how? How is the space used? What do the exhibitions communicate to you and how (in addition to the work itself, are there signs, labels, printed materials?) What is the relationship between the gallery and the artists? What is the relationship between the gallery and the viewer?

We have scheduled visits at the first three Galleries, with a break for Lunch by PAG and the beach, within easy reach of many great places to eat.
 
The afternoon will be a self-guided tour along Front & Main streets to catch the three remaining galleries where owners, staff and artists will be happy to welcome you and show you around.
 
You’ll also be able to take your favourite coffee stops, bookstore or art suppliers on the way

Meet at 9.00am in Lake Country for 9.15am departure (Bring your coffee!)
10am – 10. 40am Kelowna Art Gallery tour plus Kelowna pick-up
10.50am bus leaves Kelowna
11.45am Gallery97, Peachland
12.35pm Bus leaves Peachland
12:45-1:45pm LUNCH in Penticton
1.45pm – 2.45pm Penticton Art Gallery tour
Followed by >
2.5 hours Self-guided tour around remaining three galleries plus coffee stops

Meet Bus at collection point near Tumbleweed Gallery leaves Penticton at 5.15pm for return journey
