This workshop will focus on painting live flowers. Ann will be discussing blocking in big shapes, getting your values correct, and simplifying the painting process. We will be talking about how to choose background colors, how to paint the glass vases and how to arrange a floral composition that works. Day 1 will be indoor instruction and painting a still life composition. Day 2 will be painting irises in the studio garden (weather permitting). Ann paints in oils but all media is welcome. This class is suitable for all levels .
$200 + GST for both days
