What: Non-Juried Artisan Market at the Canadian Premier of the film 'Power of Three'
When: Saturday, June 29th, 6pm-7:30
Where: Creekside Theatre, Winfield, BC
Details: Any artists or artisans looking to sell your work and gain greater visibility?  Buy a table ($20) at the premier of the film 'Power of Three' and keep 100% of your sales.  Tables, chairs and coffee/tea/water will be provided, vendors must otherwise be self-sufficient with regards to cash/sales/signage etc.  Tables are limited, please register with Dana Penney ([email protected] / 250-864-9157).  Event hosted by Life After Laundry Ladies Club.

LECTURE: Art History's Masters Meet LCAG's Traces

What: Curatorial Panel Presentation
When: Saturday, June 15th, 1pm - 3pm
Where: Lake Country Art Gallery
Details: Curator Katie Brennan, Paula Irving and Peter Green will discuss each artist in Traces & their listed influences.  They will then extrapolate each artist's art historical parallels and counterparts including highlights of the masters' lives and oeuvres.  Through each of the three artists we will follow an art historical thread.  Portraits of the self have long since been a vehicle for therapy to face the most challening events of an artist's life.  Through M.L. Hall's work, for example, we will examine this concept.

FINE ART & GARDEN TOUR: Lake Country Garden Tour

Details: Ten of our Lake Country gardeners will show off their talents to ticket holders and share some great gardening ideas.  Enjoy the sights and also displays of fine art provided by local artists and crafts people.
