This summer, let your young artist dive into a joyful, hands-on exploration of art in an inspiring and supportive environment! Our three-day camps (offered once in July and again in August) are designed for curious, creative kids between the ages of 7-11, who love to make, explore, and express themselves through art. Led by artist and art therapist Amy Van Dongen, and supported by a dynamic team including Steph Townsend filmmaker and sociology student and Jethro McNeill childcare professional with BI expertise, our camps offer a warm, inclusive space where every child is welcomed just as they are. Tuesday Morning Story Time:
Come join Art Therapist, Amy Van Dongen in the gallery for Story Time, spontaneous colouring and free colouring pages! All ages welcome. In collaboration with our friends, @orllakecountrylibrary. Spring Dates, during current Exhibition of sculptural and video work by Daniela Cinel O'Fee & My Name is Scot March 11th; March 25th; April 8th; April 22nd Stories begin at 10:30am - free for all to attend, donations gratefully accepted Come early to view the exhibition and grab a beverage or snack from next door Radio Cafe Join Amy Van Dongen,at the Lake Country Art House for a February Pro-D, and March Break Mini Camps
We will be working on a variety of projects, all pulling inspiration from the current exhibitions. We will spend our time in the Art House, visiting the exhibition at the Lake Country Art House and breaks will be spent exploring outside.
