#Remember Earth
This session is both a photography class and an opportunity to express your voice globally. After learning about and reflecting on the famous Earth Rise photo of Apollo 8 of 1968, you shall create your own responses in photography with words, then add your expression to a global plea for the planet on #RememberEarth. You will need an ipad or cell phone to join the zoom, and for taking photos. This Zoom workshop was recorded on May 21 as a finale for the LCAG exhibit Voice and Land. It is 21 minutes long, with places to pause to watch 2 inspiring videos. | |

Learning GuideThis exhibit blatantly shows us our agency to speak for and with the land. At the Lake Country Art Gallery (LCAG) ArtHouse we believe that every child is already an artist with an ability to speak their voice through artworks in many mediums. We believe that art is voice, rather than decoration. With the Voice and Land exhibit our goal is to help you to discover and amplify the voice you hear in the land. There are many suggestions in this guide, as well as links to other learning resources to take your students outside. We are here to support you! Download the Learning Guide for activities and prompts. Poems & ThoughtsMany Artists in the Voice & Land Exhibition provided words or poems with their work, here is a selection of these in a downloadable PDF. |
