2025 UNDER 200

Lake Country Art Gallery member Artists are invited to be part of the Lake Country Art Gallery’s largest show of the year...Under 200!

• The Under 200 Exhibition will consist of one of a kind, original artworks by Okanagan artists available for sale.  
• Three-dimensional artworks are also invited.​ ​  
• A variety of sizes and prices is desired.
• Artworks will be priced up to $200.
•  70% of the selling price will be paid to the artist. ​

​Lake County Art Gallery will retain 30% of the selling price of artworks.

• All Under 200 artists are invited to donate* an original, handmade tree ornament.
  This can be a traditional tree ornament handmade by you, or a miniature painting or a small unique sculptural piece. You may submit more than one ornament 
  Please only donate ornaments that are your original works, created by you. 
• Greeting cards designed by you, complete with envelope are also invited by donation. These can be original or reproductions of your own artworks, and can include your website or promotion on the back.

*cards and ornaments: 100% of the selling price supports fundraising 

• This exhibition is an important fundraiser for the Lake Country Art Gallery. Your support, and that of our patrons will help keep the lights on for some exciting exhibitions & programs to come in 2026

Exhibition Dates: December 3, 2025 to December 21, 2025
Submission to Participate Deadline: October 5, 2025
Artwork Drop-Off Begins: November 23, 2025 at Lake Country Art Gallery 

• All artwork must be original work (no reproduction prints) and ready for display & sale upon delivery.
• Artworks on stretched canvas are not required to be framed but will require a hanging wire and suitable fixings. Works on paper can be mounted on cradle board or be framed according to provided guidelines.
• Framed work should be fitted with properly installed hardware. Your work may be rejected if it requires re-framing or amendments to fixings.
• It is preferable that 2D artworks are able to be hung with push pins, so heavy frames or frames with glass may have reduced positioning opportunities.
• All works must be priced under $200 (unless you are invited to submit a larger piece). All artwork must be for sale.
• The Lake Country Art Gallery will retain a percentage of the selling price, as Under 200 is a fundraising exhibition. 
  •  70% of the selling price will be paid to the artist. Lake County Art Gallery will retain 30% of the selling price.
• All artwork must be delivered to the Gallery and ready for display by November 24th, 2025 at the latest.
• Artwork will only be accepted from Gallery Members whose submissions were accepted by the Selection Committee.
• Accepted gallery member artists are guaranteed to have three selected works exhibited. Additional works are by invitation only.
• ​The selection committee reserves the right to return any works that do not meet the requirements stated in your emailed invitation.
• Unsold works collection from Lake Country Art Gallery on December 23, 2025. Contact LCAG if you cannot pick-up your works until we reopen in 2026.

Step #1: Submission of Intent to Participate

• Your contact details
• Tell us about your art (80 words maximum)
• Tell us about yourself as an artist (80 words maximum)
• x3 sample images of your artwork attached to an email and sent to [email protected]  
• Images must be saved in jpg or jpeg format and be no larger than 2MB each
• Please rename your image files with YOUR NAME plus a single number...

Examples: AnnPainter1  -  AnnPainter2  -  ...

ADDITIONAL NOTES: The images you submit at Step #1 do not have to be the same works you intend to submit for the actual exhibition. However, the images that you send in Step #1 must be representative of the type of artwork you plan to submit for the exhibition. Your sample images are meant to showcase the quality and type (genre/ medium) of your work, and may also be used for promotional or information materials.
