How you can help the Lake Country Art Gallery today:

About the Lake Country Art Gallery:

The Lake Country Art Gallery operates with the following goals ...

Curatorial Mandate: To present artwork that demonstrates a high level of excellence; that engages, challenges and enriches our community by bringing new artists and artwork into the community from other regions, as well as by supporting and showcasing the work of artists that live and work within our community.

Public Programming: Create, facilitate and collaborate to create innovative, educational and accessible
public programming in conjunction with our exhibitions, as well as stand alone events. Produce lectures, performances, classes and workshops that inspire, engage and appeal to a broad range of interests, age groups and skill levels; public programming is an integral part of any exhibition at the Lake Country Art Gallery.

The Lake Country Art Gallery’s Art House is also a space that courts innovation, exploration, collaboration and celebration of ALL of the arts. It is a place for artists and art lovers to come together to make art, talk about art and experience art in all of its forms.

“The main thing is to be moved, to love, to hope, to tremble, to live.” ~Auguste Rodin

Why help us:

"When my daughter was about seven years old, she asked me one day what I did at work. I told her I worked at the college- that my job was to teach people how to draw. She stared back at me, incredulous, and said, "You mean they forgot?" ~ Howard Ikemoto

We are passionate about presenting art that demonstrates a high level of excellence that engages, challenges, and augments our community. By bringing new artists and artwork into the gallery from other areas, as well as supporting and showcasing the work of artists that live and work within our community, we can further enhance and diversify the area in which we live. We also aim to create and collaborate to provide innovative, educational and accessible public programming in conjunction with our exhibitions. In addition we plan to facilitate standalone events, lectures, performances, classes and workshops that inspire, engage and appeal to a broad range of interests, age groups and skill levels. We strive to provide as many people as possible with creative, positive, and inspirational experiences regardless of the forum.  With your help, we can touch the lives of an even broader spectrum of people of all ages.

Your contribution:

"The purpose of art is to wash the dust of daily lives off of our souls." ~ Pablo Picasso

We are looking to collaborate with businesses that share our passion for enriching our community. With your help, we can act as a facility for public engagement in art and ideas for the benefit of everyone and anyone who wishes to participate. We can provide events, information, education and most importantly inspiration.

In exchange, we can offer a chance to broaden your business’s visibility by providing advertising in all print materials which are displayed and available to more than 8,000 visitors per year.  Your logo would also be displayed on our website, social media and bi-weekly newsletters, each of which have between 800 - 1,200 followers.
