Bio
Christia Langlois was born in France where she grew up and got a degree in literature before she moved to Chile for several years to raise her little family. She moved to Canada with her family in 2012 and is now established in the Okanagan. In 2019 she went back to Okanagan College to study Carpentry and Joinery in order to deepen her knowledge in woodworking. She has been teaching French, Spanish, gymnastics, circus, and art. Throughout the years her exploration of arts has taken her to discover and play with many techniques in painting, printing, pottery, woodworking, and fiber between others. Her artwork focuses on using art to navigate life with its infinite possibilities, avenues, and textures. Seeing art as a way to express ourselves, share, and communicate with the world. She enjoys working with kids and sharing with them the joy of exploration, imagination, and creativity.
