 After School Art ~ Winter Session
January 12th – March 16th Wednesdays 3:30pm - 5:30pm The Lake Country Art House presents After School Art Winter Session for creative individuals aged 7-11. Presented by Rena Warren, an Okanagan based artist and art educator, who runs art programs for inspired persons of all ages. Includes 20 hours of instruction and all materials provided. Thank you for your patience.  Tap~In is a drop-in art and wellness program where Teens aged 13-17 can access self-awareness through the creative process. Participants have the opportunity to explore a variety of mediums and guided processes in an inclusive and safe space. Each week will offer different art directives and materials; or the opportunity for spontaneous practice. Create art and tap into self in a safe space.
Fridays 3:30-5:30 Jan 14th – Mar 11th (No class on Feb 18th) Facilitator: Amanda Crouse B.F.A., B.Ed, Art Therapy Intern Lake Country Art House, 10356A Bottom Wood Lake Road, Lake Country Cost: by donation  Join artist instructor Tina Siddiqui in guided practice with a focus on drawing, painting and mixed media. Open Studio Fridays takes place at Lake Country Art House from 11:20 – 2:30 with Feb 4th – Mar 4th classes exploring Acrylics and Mixed Media; and Mar 11- Apr 1st classes focussing on Watercolour, Pen and Ink.
Cost is $185 for members and $200 for non-members. Includes 24 hours of instruction. $25 drop-in fee. Due to public health orders and limited space, participants are asked to pre-register by emailing [email protected]. Participants are also asked to wear a mask and provide their vaccine passports. Tina Siddiqui is an award-winning art educator with over 25 years of experience. Specializing in mixed media, drawing and painting, Tina’s work portrays landscape, figurative studies and portraiture.
