What: Art History Lecture (III of III)
When: Saturday, August 24th, 3pm
Where: Lake Country Art Gallery
Details: Peter Green will speak to his time living in the Netherlands to study art.  From the Early Netherlandish greats Hieronymus Bosch & Jan van Eyck to the age of Vermeer & Rembrandt to modern masters like Van Gogh & Mondrian, Green will delve into the small nation's renowned revolutionary artists.

Where: Lake Country Art Gallery
Details: Peter Green will speak to the forces of nature throughout art history.  Highlights include Japanese prints & their influence on Van Gogh's landscapes, Art Nouveau & Mucha, Canadian Ed Burtynsky & the Group of Seven.

What: Art History Lecture (I of III)
When: Saturday, August 10th, 3pm
Where: Lake Country Art Gallery
Details: To kick off the Art History's Masters Meet Lake Country lecture series, Peter Green will speak to the highlights of public art.  He will trace Michelangelo's David through to the infamous political street graffiti of England's Banksy. A number of district officials are expected in attendance.

What: Crafts with the (Grand) Kids!
When: Saturday, August 3rd, 2-5pm
Where: Lake Country Art Gallery (out front)
Details: Come celebrate British Columbia Day and the August long weekend with the kids!  We'll have tons of crafts including T-shirt painting, face painting and activities to span generations.  Family, outdoor tents, beach music and art, its our favourite kind of Lake Country afternoon!
