2-Day Abstract Course Plus “Colour" with Bonny Roberts

DAY 1:
As colour is, for me, the most important element in a painting, I shall reinforce some of the most important points of colour and how to use them in a piece for optimum effect.  We will go over using only the 3 primaries.  I will distribute hand-outs that you can study explaining the colour theories. 

We will then do a few exercises using the primaries to make sure we fully understand and are able to utilize these few colours to create a successful piece.

We will also lay down some texture on a canvas in preparation for a completed abstract painting on Day Two.  HOWEVER, we should also be able to create a successful piece without relying on texture so we will also start one of these.
