Phase #1 of the campaign ran from October through December of 2024, with each member asked to donate $50, or more. With a truly fantastic response, this campaign brought in over 75% of the target amount - our goal is to raise $10,000. Now open up to ALL supporters of the Lake Country Art Gallery - even non-members, we hope that we can raise the remaining $2,500 |
What is the 'gap' |
This campaign is happening in order to solve a specific annual problem the Lake Country Art Gallery faces. There is a GAP between when our operating costs start and when funds are received. Our fiscal year begins In January of each year, meanwhile major funding sources for operating costs do not arrive until late Spring.
The goal of this fundraising campaign is to raise funds to Fill the Gap one time to remove the need we face each year while we wait for the regular funding to arrive. This campaign is an excellent way to support your public art gallery in it's role to meet it's mandate and community needs including: Support artists; Offering varied and unique exhibitions for the public; Maintain community programs; Ensure the creative arts are available for all; contribute to and build culture; engage everyone in valuable arts experiences and build community connections through ART. |
