The Existential Café

Inspired by the conversations of mid-20th century figures such as Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre and Albert Camus hanging out at the Les Deux Magots Cafe drinking apricot cocktails and gin fizzes discussing art, literature, philosophy and existentialism…that’s how we do it at the LC  Art Gallery (BYOB, Ha!)

The Existential Café is an artist talk discussion of sorts that takes place with every curated exhibition. Although the initial conversation takes the direction of the artists in the current exhibition, attendees are encouraged to add their voice to the discussion. The Café is an opportunity to join in the conversation and philosophical musings over coffee with the artists, curator, and other community members.
