The LC Art Gallery has up to four annual opportunities for Gallery Members to enter their work for Exhibit. These may include: Annual Juried Member's Exhibition; Intergenerational/ Community Exhibition; ArtWalk Themed Gallery Exhibition, and Under 100 Fundraising Exhibition. (read on for details!) These annual shows are selected by Jury/ by Curator for cohesion of them and for engaging visitor experience.

ArtWalk/ Gallery Theme Exhibition
The Female Gaze
Gallery Members and ArtWalk participants are invited to submit a letter of intent to the Curator Wanda Lock about their planned artwork on the theme The Female Gaze. EMAIL here
Exhibition Dates: August 27th to October 4th
Works are selected by the Curator and exhibited during August-September to include the Lake Country ArtWalk weekend which attracts over 7,000 visitors into the Municipality.
There are new themes set each year, with specific submission instructions for each show. Make sure you check the current call for art before starting your work.

Under 100 FUNDRAISING Exhibition 2019
Exhibition Dates: Nov 23rd - Dec 21st
Step #1: Submit a proposal of intent online in September
to show 3 or *more small artworks for this annual **fundraising exhibition which opens mid November and runs to the last week before winter break.
* Submissions are juried at two stages.
At step #2, artists will be asked to supply more than x 3 works for initial submission if the work is assessed as highly marketable, and then again by invitation to re-fill the displays weekly, as the art sells.
* 30% of sales support gallery programs for the following year

How it Works:
Step 1: Submission of intent to participate deadline September.
Step 2: Submission: We send you an email specifying how many works you can enter for the opening selection**
Step 3: Invited artists enter Label & Inventory information online for opening selection** of artworks early in November
Step 4: As your work sells you will be invited to submit more work on the following Wednesdays throughout the exhibition.

The gallery employs curatorial expertise to implement the setting of exhibitions, programs and services in accordance with nationally recognised professional standards of operation.
It is not the gallery’s mandate to sell works of art during an exhibition. However the Lake Country Art Gallery will keep a price list available for requested inquiries and will take a 20% administration fee on any works which are sold during an exhibition.
The exception to this is the fundraising U100 exhibition for which we actively promote sales and will take 30% commission in support of future programming at the Gallery
