In addition to 4 curator-selected exhibitions each year, the gallery has 4 opportunities for Gallery Members to enter their work for show. These include: Annual Member's Show, Intergenerational/ Community Exhibition, ArtWalk Themed Gallery, and Under 100 Exhibition. (read on for details!) These annual shows are selected through juried selection processes at different points during the year.

Under 100 FUNDRAISING Exhibition 2018
Submit a proposal of intent online by September 30th
to show 5+ small artworks for this annual *fundraising exhibition which opens mid November and runs to the last week before winter break.
* Submissions are juried.
* 30% of sales support gallery programs for the following year

How it Works:
Step 1: Submission of intent to participate deadline September 30.
Step 2: Submission: We send you an email specifying how many works you can enter for the opening selection**
Step 3: Invited artists enter Label & Inventory information online for opening selection** of artworks by November 10th at 6pm
Step 4: As your work sells you will be invited to submit more work on the following Wednesdays throughout the exhibition.

Annual Intergenerational/ Community Exhibition 2019
This exhibition takes place in the early Spring. Submit up to TWO pieces of art that have been made individually OR collaboratively with another person of a different generation.

ArtWalk/ Gallery Theme Exhibition 2018
Gallery Members and ArtWalk participants are invited to submit one artwork on a set theme each year. Works are juried and exhibited during the ArtWalk weekend and through the rest of September. There are new themes set each year and specific submission instructions for each show so make sure you check the current call for art before starting work.

The gallery employs curatorial expertise to implement the setting of exhibitions, programs and services in accordance with nationally recognised professional standards of operation.
It is not the gallery’s mandate to sell works of art during an exhibition. However the Lake Country Art Gallery will keep a price list available for requested inquiries and will take a 20% fee on any works which are sold during an exhibition.
The exception to this is the fundraising U100 exhibition for which we actively promote sales and will take 30% commission in support of future programming at the Gallery
