Mandate & Operating Values of the Lake Country Art Gallery

The Lake Country Art Gallery is a public art gallery located in Lake Country (aka Winfield), British Columbia, which opened in January 2010. It is located in two visible, stand alone buildings (the gallery and the Art House) along one of the main roads in Lake Country. The gallery space is conjoined to the Lake Country Coffee House, which offers a welcoming atmosphere to the gallery space.
The mandate of the Lake Country Art Gallery is to foster understanding, interest and enjoyment of art throughout the Lake Country community and the Okanagan region by offering a schedule of diverse exhibitions and public programming initiatives, for adults and youth, that showcase a range of art by established and emerging artists, as well as community members.
