In addition to 4 curator-selected exhibitions each year, the gallery has 4 opportunities for Gallery Members to enter their work for show. These include: Annual Member's Show, Intergenerational/ Community Exhibition, ArtWalk Themed Gallery, and Under 100 Exhibition. (read on for details!) These annual shows are selected through juried selection processes at different points during the year.

Annual Member's Show
This exhibition takes place in the late Spring. A call for submissions will be available to view the January prior to the exhibition. Spring 2017 Call - see HERE - this will give an indication of the format but there will be new themes and other changes each year so make sure you check the current call for art before starting work.

Intergenerational/ Community Exhibition
This exhibition takes place in the early Spring. Submit up to five pieces of art that have been made collaboratively with another person of a different generation. For an example of a past Intergenerational exhibition click Here

to show 5+ small artworks for this annual *fundraising exhibition which opens mid November and runs to the last week before winter break. Submissions are juried. *(30% of sales support gallery programs for the following year)

How it Works:
Step 1: Submission of intent to participate deadline September 30.
Step 2: Invited artists enter Label & Inventory information online for opening selection* of artworks by November 10th at 6pm
Step 3: As your work sells we will send invitations for you to submit more work on the following Wednesday throughout the exhibition.
**The opening selection of works will be the number of works that you have been invited by email to to submit

The gallery employs curatorial expertise to implement the setting of exhibitions, programs and services in accordance with nationally recognised professional standards of operation.
It is not the gallery’s mandate to sell works of art during an exhibition. However the Lake Country Art Gallery will keep a price list available for requested inquiries and will take a 20% fee on any works which are sold during an exhibition.
The exception to this is the fundraising U100 exhibition for which we actively promote sales and will take 30% commission in support of future programming at the Gallery
